The Insinkerator Badger 5 is a dependable medium priced Disposer which is easy to install. This is my third Badger 5 in the last thirty years which that alone should tell you that it is a great food disposer. Very dependable and durable.
RummyI love my new InSinkErator! It is amazingly quiet and high functioning as a unit! The fact that it changes direction in grinding every time it is turned on is an ingenious feature helpful in not becoming stuck with a foreign object. The plug is a wonderful safety feature as well as secure in a closed sealed state or with a simple light twist lets water through for lubrication during use. This is by far the most user friendly, efficient and safe garburator I know of and I am sure I will enjoy it for many many years.
StinaExtremely happy with this purchase. This is the most expensive disposal unit I have ever purchased, and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase it again. This is a relatively high-end home, and I was dismayed to see that the original builder put in a basic disposal that came no where near the quality of the other appliances.
The Evolution Excel is as quiet as anything I have ever heard, and does a fantastic job of grinding up anything we have put in it. Highly recommended if you want good functionality and and low noise!
